Calcium Power Dupla Marin added regularly,provides all invertebrates in seawater aquaria with essential calcium. An insufficient calcium supply inhibits the growth of the skeletons of hard corals, tridacna shells, hard tube worms and calcareous algae. The calcium content of natural seawater is 380 to 400 mg/l. Magnesium and calcium must be balanced in a given proportion to each other. It is therefore necessary to regularly monitor both values.
One level 10 gram dosage spoon of Dupla Marin Power Calcium (included) increases the calcium content by 10 mg per liter for 100 liters of aquarium water. Due to the individual number of specimens and species, every aquarium has its own requirements to which the daily dose has to be adjusted. Add in the aquarium at a place with vigorous current or add straight into the sump.
